Managing Consultant

Summary
The Managing Consultant provides senior leadership for Data Solutions consulting engagements, balancing operational execution and financial stewardship across a portfolio of work. This role leads client-facing projects and internal teams to ensure contractual compliance, high-quality delivery, and alignment with organizational mission, values, and standards. As a people manager and organizational leader, the Managing Consultant drives consistency, collaboration, and continuous improvement across consulting services while supporting business development and contributing to enterprise-wide strategy and growth.

Required Qualifications:

• Masters Degree
• 10 years of project management work experience in healthcare
  
• 15 years of consulting experience in the healthcare field required
  
• 10 years of experience leading engagements with Medicaid and other consulting clients on a variety of topics, including: health information technology, data and analytics, interoperability, large-scale system procurement, information technology system implementation and support, operational improvement, process redesign, and/or practice transformation
  
• 7 years management experience

Desired Qualifications:

• PMP, PgMP, CISM, CPEHR, CPHIMS, CPHIE, or other HIT related certifications (Preferred)

Job Duties:

• Work with the VP Data Solutions and other leaders to develop project budgets and provide oversight of budgets for assigned portfolio of work.
  
• Ensure compliance with all contractual requirements for assigned contracts, working with the VP Data Solutions and other leaders to align with core organizational processes where possible.
  
• Provide day-to-day leadership and management of large-scale Data Solutions engagements, assuring adequate staffing, regulatory compliance, and adherence to organizational policies, all in accordance with Comagine Health mission, vision, and values.
  
• Work with the VP, Consulting Services and VP, Data Solutions to develop consulting approaches, pricing models, processes, and tools to continually increase the quality and effectiveness of projects for improved client satisfaction, standardized professional promotion of consulting services and greater profitability.
  
• Provide direct supervision and mentorship of a team of consultants and senior consultants.
  
• Work to create greater alignment across service lines, working in collaboration with other service line and organizational leaders to drive strategic and operational initiatives.
  
• Lead with organizational values and align with the mission and vision.
  
• Serve as a key member of the Data Solutions leadership team.
  
• Participate in Business Development activities including conference attendance, proposal writing, and budget creation in collaboration with the Growth team, VP Data Solutions, and other leaders.
