As a Security Officer Access Site in Hartsville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and support security-related protocols at the location. This role combines strong customer service, clear communication, and attention to detail while helping to address incidents and maintain smooth daily operations. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific policies, verifying credentials, and directing authorized individuals at entry and exit points.
• Monitor access control points, check identification and/or visitor documentation, and help to deter unauthorized entry while maintaining accurate logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to observe conditions, report unusual activity, and support security-related procedures.
• Assist with receiving guests, contractors, and/or deliveries by confirming authorization, documenting arrivals and departures, and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
