Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff through strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable laws.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support medical facility operations by assisting with de-escalation, documenting incidents, and coordinating with site contacts, first responders, and/or law enforcement when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Handcuff, pepper spray, and baton qualifications are preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
