We are seeking a part-time Linen Inventory Control Clerk to support HCSC in the Camden, NJ and Philadelphia regions. The Linen Inventory Control Clerk plays a vital role in keeping healthcare operations running smoothly by maintaining accurate linen and supply levels, improving inventory flow and turnaround, and proactively addressing customer needs through strong communication and service support. The hourly rate for this position is between $17-$18/hr and is commensurate with experience. In addition, HCSC offers the following to all part-time employees:

What you will be doing:



  • Conduct inventory counts in hospital linen departments
  • Travel between facilities to maintain accurate inventory levels
  • Help improve linen flow and turnaround times
  • Build strong relationships with hospital staff through reliable service
  • Potential to work on team projects



What you will bring to the role:



  • Education: High diploma or GED required.
  • Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
  • Customer service and/or inventory experience (preferred)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Basic proficiency Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) preferred
  • Self-motivated and able to manage your time independently



Additional information:

This position reports to the Manager, Customer Relations. They will be responsible for working the following schedule:



  • The normal hours for this part-time position are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 8am-3pm. Days may vary occasionally due to holidays
  • Reliable transportation is required as well as a valid and current driver's license
  • Driving for this position is estimated to be about 50% and 50% onsite at the facilities.
