Overview
The Comp Sports Business Manager position is responsible for supporting USU Campus Recreation's Comp Sports business operations. Reporting to the Comp Sports Coordinator this position will be responsible but not limited to processing business transactions associated with clubs, managing club travel and maintaining sport club athlete eligibility records.

Responsibilities
Program Management
  • Become proficient in the use of Fusion, DoSportsEasy, and Connect2Concepts software as they relate to program administration and management.
  • Coordinate with University Advancement to support Club Sports through fundraising and ensure that fundraising guidelines are followed.
  • Understand and represent the mission and vision of Utah State University Campus Recreation Department.
  • Work evening and weekends when necessary, regarding Club Sports events and games
  • Schedule facility and officiating reservations for club sports home competitions.

Administrative
  • Process business transactions associated with club sport operations and travel.
  • Manage club travel requests and associated documentation.
  • Maintain club sport athlete eligibility records.
  • Research, develop, monitor, and adhere to the Club Sports program budgets.


Qualifications
Minimum:

  • Associates degree

  • 0-1 Year of Sport Club or Recreational Sports Management

Preferred:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field.

  • 1 year plus of Sport Club or Recreational Sports Management
