Job Summary

Job Description

Plant Superintendent supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in all phases of a plant operation. Typically reporting directly to plant operations manager, prepares operation schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality meet specifications.

Responsibilities & Duties
* Maintain compliance to all production schedules. Analyze all customer requirements and maintain optimal level of quality for all production activities according to required ISO standards.
* Manage all work and ensure compliance to safety rules for plant and monitor all labor agreements and coordinate with direct sales team to perform all customer visits.
* Design all plant skills for subordinates and develop and implement all plant policies and achieve all objectives and coordinate for various productions and maintenance activities.
* Analyze and maintain budgets.
* Prepare sales reports and establish all required changes for various programs and operations.
* Collaborate with plant manager to recommend all operational improvements to processes and facilitate reduction in cost and ensure efficiency of all programs and adhere to all safety programs according to Federal and State regulations.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* 5 years of relevant experience
* 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required
* Bachelor's Degree
* Manages subordinate staff I the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
* True first level manager.
* Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
* Extensive knowledge of department processes.

* Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization
* Typically has a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional certification and 5 years of prior relevant experience
