Job Summary

The Loomer is responsible for assembling, wrapping, taping, and protecting wire harnesses according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This role ensures harnesses are properly routed, secured, and prepared for final assembly and shipment while maintaining production efficiency and safety standards.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble and loom wire harnesses using tape, conduit, braid, tubing, and protective coverings.
• Read and follow blueprints, routing diagrams, build sheets, and work instructions.
• Apply tape, sleeves, clamps, ties, and protective materials according to specifications.
• Meet daily production goals and quality expectations.
• Report material shortages, equipment issues, or quality concerns to supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
