The Manager of Recruitment will establish metrics and goals to manage the recruiting team in order to achieve the company's annual business objectives. This individual will confirm that the proper tools and oversight are in place to assist the recruiting team in meeting the metrics and goals. The Manager of Recruitment will manage the recruitment processes and update as required. This individual will provide feedback and encouragement to the recruiting team based on assessed performance.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Understand and communicate business goals to the recruiting team
- Set recruiting priorities for the team
- Set metrics and goals for the recruiting team
- Establish and maintain procedures required to meet metrics and business goals
- Help to select and maintain tools required for the recruiting team to meet goals
- Provide monthly metrics to upper management or as required
- Meet with customers, as required, to support Business Development and Delivery
- Confirm recruiting team follows relevant HR guidance and regulations
- Provide training and development to the recruiting team employees
- Identify and forecast industry employment trends
- Set commissions and base rates or salaries for roles on recruiting team, based on HR's compensation review
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to multi-task
- Proficient with Microsoft suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
- Significant knowledge of the company's industry
- Effective written and verbal communication skills required
- Strong leadership ability
- Self-motivation and prioritization of job duties
- Ability to understand a Profit and Loss Statement (P&L)
- Strong Project Management skills
- Experience with public speaking
- Willingness to engage with AI tools, while meeting state requirements
Supervisory responsibilities (if applicable): The Manager of Recruitment will manage a team of recruiters, recruiting admins, and a recruiting sourcer who are located throughout the US. This includes providing direction as well as managing performance. The Manager of Recruitment is responsible to reward performance or initiate performance improvement to the recruitment team, as needed. Physical demands:
- Ability to use a computer for an extended duration
- Ability to view a computer screen for an extended duration
- Ability to use a phone for a high percentage of the day
Travel required: Occasional travel, as required. Required education and experience:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10+ years recruiting experience, or 5 years recruiting experience and 2 years of management experience
