As an HR Manager, you will implement the local HR strategy to fulfill specific demands for Fragrance & Beauty Division Consumer Products, according to the HR strategy and corporate guidelines. You will be an HR Business for the Managers and employess from different areas across their sites. Salary expectation based on technical experience $134,000 to $166,000. This position will be based at our Easth Hanover, NJ site, working in a hybrid model (4 days at the office, 1 day remote). Occasionally will commute to our Custom Essence site in Somerset. NJ. Your main responsibilities will include Strategy Implementation
- Work together with management and provide advice as to the best HR management practices to support our goals.
- Use relevant data and reports to recommend policy and process solutions to address risks and opportunities and align with HR strategy and plans.
- Lead or help implement Corporate and Site projects.
HR Management
- Provide human resources generalist support to mid-level managers and employees.
- Identify trends/issues that require resolution and involves appropriate resources.
- Support organizational effectiveness function through team building and goal/role clarification.
- Participate in people management activities for defined scope including involvement in performance management and compensation review annual processes. Participate in the talent acquisition process, ensuring the quality of personnel hired, the effectiveness of recruiting and selection techniques, and compliance with law requirements.
- Provide on-site consultation and administration including annual merit and incentive cycles, performance reviews, and benefits enquiries. Ensure fair and competitive positioning of salaries through internal equity and external market analysis.
HR Processes
- Help define clear roles and responsibilities and streamlined internal HR processes.
- Promote proactive use of people management practices and systems and provide value added reporting enabling managers to make more fact-based decisions.
Employee Relations
- Provide employee relations counsel to managers and employees on HR matters including performance, discipline, organizational decisions and career development. Provide interpretation and guidance on hu-man resources policies and employment law.
- Manage complex Employee Relation issues and ensure main HR business processes are implemented (e.g. performance management, annual pay/bonus reviews, learning and development, talent planning, succession planning).
- Coach HR colleagues and managers to understand and comply with relevant legislation and employee relation policies.
Legal & Compliance
- Provide interpretation and guidance on human resources policies and employment law
- Ensure organizational compliance with employment law and implementation of new legal requirements
- Ensure organizational compliance on matters of occupational health; in collaboration with the occupational health department and local management team provide support on employees medical is-sues/restrictions
- Inform and advise managers and staff about relevant legislation, employee relations policies.
- Lead meetings and negotiations with Union and councils.
You? Your professional profile includes
- University degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in HR with international organizations.
- Experience supporting employee relations and people management activities.
- Experience working with mid-level managers.
- Fluent English.
- Experience working with D&I and change management.
