Corporate Staff Intern (Federal Government Contracting)

Nemean Solutions, headquartered in Sierra Vista, AZ, is a certified SBA 8(a) Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO) and veteran-operated company providing advanced Military Intelligence, Enterprise and Cloud IT services, Cybersecurity, Special Operations Forces (SOF) Exercise and Training, and niche Program Support and Professional Services to Federal and State Agencies supporting the US Government Defense, Intelligence and Aerospace sectors.

We are seeking a motivated intern for an 8-week internship program designed to provide hands-on experience and professional development opportunities.

• Duration: 8 weeks
• Commitment: Approximately 15-20 hours per week
• Pay: $18 - $25 per hour

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Participate in a COO-led executive orientation on company operations, systems, and strategy.
• Rotate through core business functions including Contracts, Finance/Pricing, HR & Recruiting, Business Development & Proposals, and Program Management/Oversight.
• Analyze real company data, documents, and processes.
• Develop key deliverables such as: Contract analysis summary, Excel-based pricing model, Candidate profile and job description, Proposal writing sample, and Program health assessment.
• Present a capstone briefing to leadership on how Nemean wins, prices, staffs, and executes federal contracts.

Minimum & Preferred Requirements/Education:

• Current undergraduate or graduate student (Business, Finance, Engineering, Public Policy, or related field preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior internship or professional work experience.
• Familiarity with government contracting or military environment.
• Ability to work independently and synthesize information across functions.
