NOC Technician Join our dynamic team as a NOC Technician and become a vital part of ensuring seamless connectivity and top-tier service for customers. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of network monitoring and troubleshooting, working collaboratively with Field Operations and NOC Engineers to resolve complex issues quickly and efficiently. What You'll Do: Monitor and maintain network performance across fiber optic, DWDM, MPLS, and other high-tech network elements. Respond to trouble tickets, diagnose issues, and coordinate repairs to minimize customer downtime. Manage network changes, perform circuit testing, and interpret network documentation to ensure optimal operation. Provide exceptional customer support with timely updates and technical guidance. Required Skills: At least 1 year working in an NOC environment within the telecom industry Strong trouble ticket management skills and familiarity with trouble shooting systems Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, network performance monitoring, and basic fiber optic fundamentals Excellent communication skills and ability to handle multiple tickets simultaneously Ability to work independently and in a team within a 24/7 flexible schedule Nice to Have Skills: Experience with Nokia, ADVA, Ekinops, and MRV equipment Knowledge of DWDM, MPLS, SONET, and circuit testing procedures Preferred Education and Experience: Focused technical training or certifications in telecommunications preferred Experience supporting fiber optic networks and performing circuit activation and testing Other Requirements: Ability to work in a shift rotation including weekends and holidays as part of a 24x7 support environment. first, second and third shifts open.
