Overview

SCCI is currently seeking an Operations Manager to join our team! In this position you will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight, coordination, and operational effectiveness of a multi-functional office/program facility. This role serves as a central point of coordination between facility personnel, Security, Program Managers, Directors, vendors, and employees to ensure smooth business operations, security compliance, and efficient support operations.

The Operations Manager will oversee facility operations, coordinate operational priorities, support organizational initiatives, and ensure a professional, safe, and productive work environment. This position is available for immediately hire and located at our office in King George, VA.

Responsibilities:



  • Provide daily operational oversight of the facility and associated support functions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related issues affecting employees and program operations
  • Coordinate office moves, workspace planning, conference room management, and facility utilization activities
  • Monitor facility conditions and ensure timely resolution of maintenance, safety, or operational concerns
  • Coordinate closely with the Security Department on security-related processes, facility access, badging, visitor management, and compliance requirements
  • Support emergency preparedness activities, continuity planning, and incident response coordination
  • Partner with Program Managers and Directors to support operational needs, office logistics, staffing coordination, and workplace initiatives
  • Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, maintenance providers, and building management personnel
  • Assist with development and implementation of operational procedures, workflows, and process improvements
  • Track operational metrics, recurring facility costs, and support budget planning activities as assigned
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable security or safety procedures
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities related to facility access, equipment coordination, and workspace readiness
  • Maintain effective communication with employees across the organization regarding operational updates, facility matters, and workplace expectations
  • Provide oversight of administrative and operational support personnel, as applicable

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience:



  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Facilities Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Five (5)+ years of experience in operations management, facilities management, office management, or related operational leadership roles
  • Experience working in a government contracting or security-conscious environment preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to recommend and implement process improvements
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and leadership levels
  • Experience managing vendors and operational support services
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and common business systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional demeanor and strong customer service mindset



Preferred Skills and Experience:



  • Experience supporting secure or classified facilities.
  • Familiarity with facility security procedures and coordination with FSOs.
  • Experience supporting large office environments or multi-program operations.
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Experience with Inventory and Resource Management
  • Experience managing, tracking, and reporting Government Furnished Property (GFP)



Work Environment:



  • Primarily office-based within a professional facility environment
  • Position requires frequent walking throughout the building, coordination with multiple teams, and occasional after-hours support for operational issues or facility requirements
