JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Job Summary: This individual will serve as a Tioga County Extension team member, assisting with the 4-H program for 4-H youth members and adult volunteer leaders. This position is based at Penn State Extension, Tioga County, Wellsboro, PA. Position Responsibilities:
Qualifications: Possess good communication skills needed for individual communication with members, parents, leaders, and teachers. Possess organizational and record-keeping skills. Possess computer skills for creating documents and marketing pieces. Must be able to carry equipment, educational materials, and supplies, with or without accommodation. Compensation Approximately 20 hours/week, fluctuating depending on the time of the year. The individual must be available for evening and weekend events to fulfill the position's responsibilities. The starting hourly wage is $18.00. BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
