Description -Provide direct one-on-one behavior intervention support to a student, as indicated in the student's IEP, in collaboration with the Behavior Specialist and Educational Team. -Implement individualized behavioral intervention programming as outlined in Positive Behavior Support Plan and behavior related IEP goals throughout the day, including crisis intervention and document ongoing behavior data based on specific student needs. -Perform lifting, positioning, and handling, assist with daily routines and instructional support as outlined in their IEP, as well as feeding and self-care/personal hygiene tasks as directed by the classroom team of therapists and/or classroom teacher. -Follow PBSP plan and supervision regarding the student needs and their instruction, as well as being flexible regarding daily assignments. Qualifications -Associates degree and willingness to obtain a Behavior Technician certification. -Experience and/or course work regarding children with visual impairments, multiple disabilities, and/or behaviors.
