Security Officer - Access Coordinator

As a Security Officer Access Coordinator in Champaign, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location as an Access Control Officer, helping monitor entry points, check credentials, and conduct routine patrols throughout assigned areas. In this role, you will help support a secure, welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service while embodying our values of being agile, reliable, innovative, and people first, with teamwork and integrity at the core of every shift.

Pay Rate: $18.10 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document access activity to help support authorized movement throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and/or security-related policy issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
