As a Security Officer - Access Control for Warehouse in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify access, and support daily operations through visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication. In this access control role, you will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following site-specific procedures, verifying credentials, managing access points, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor the entry and exit of employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers, document arrivals and departures, and report unusual activity or policy violations to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, applying access control procedures and other security-related policies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including gates, docks, parking areas, and perimeter points, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by helping to control access to restricted areas, checking identification and/or delivery information, and maintaining accurate logs and reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
