TREASURYMANAGER, INVESTMENTS

SpaceX isseekingaTreasury Manager with6+years of experience to join our Treasury team. This role willfocus on managing corporate cash balances and investments, andis critical tooptimizingour balance sheet liquidity, ensuring robust cash management practices, and driving fixed income strategies to support corporateobjectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate treasury, withexpertisein fixed income securities, cash forecasting, and risk management.This position reportsdirectly to the Treasury Directorand isbased in Hawthorne, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • ManageSpaceX'sinvestablecash, focusing on fixed income securities (e.g.,U.S.Treasuries, corporate bonds, and money market instruments) to maximize risk-adjusted returns while prioritizingstrongliquidity and capital preservation.
  • Analyze market trends in fixed income and cash equivalents to inform investment decisions and balance sheet strategies.
  • Collaborate with finance, accounting, andtaxteams to support M&A activities, debt issuance, working capital management, and liquidity planning.
  • Identify,monitor,and mitigate treasury risks, including interest rate, liquidity, and credit risks associated with cash and investments.
  • Develop,implement,andmaintaintreasury policies, procedures, and controlstoensurecompliance with regulatoryreportingrequirementsand internal guidelines.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership on cash positions, investment performance, andkeytreasury metrics.
  • Leveragetreasury management systemsto improvecash visibility, forecasting accuracy,andprocessautomation.
  • Design andimplementrisk monitoring frameworks, dashboards, and reportingthat clearly communicate risks and mitigation options.
  • Drivebest practicesand process improvementsacrosstheInvestmentsfunction.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 6+ years of corporate treasury or financial institutionexperience.


PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:



  • MBA or CFA preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.
  • 6+years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, with at least3years directly managing cash and investments in a large U.S.corporation or financial institution.
  • Deep knowledge of fixed income markets, including bond valuation, duration management, and credit analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills withproficiencyin financial modeling (e.g., Excel,Python,Bloomberg) and treasury software.
  • Demonstrated success implementing cash optimization initiatives that improved yields or reduced costs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex information to senior leadership.
  • Ability to work independently, drive both small- and large-scale process improvements, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • This position is based inHawthorne,Californiaand requires being onsite - remote or hybrid work will not be considered.
  • Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed.


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay range:

Treasury Manager: $135,000.00 - $185,000.00/per year

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
