General Description of the Job Class This position is responsible for understanding and analyzing the Duke University Health System (DUHS) statement of operations for the Musculoskeletal, Physical & Occupational Therapy Strategic Service Line services on a routine basis. The position will be required to understand the many facets of Duke University Hospital both financially and operationally in order to effectively provide advisory and consultative support. Duties and Responsibilities of the Role
Required Qualifications at this Level Education: Work requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience:Work requires a minimum of six years' experience in financial management, cost accounting or a field directly related to specialized area of assignment. Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Healthcare Finance Professional (CHFP), and/or Fellow Healthcare Financial Management Association (FHFMA) is desirable. Systems: Prior experience with SAP, EPSi, Business Objects, Epic, Oracle Smart View and Tableau is desirable. Preferred preferences
