DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position focuses on maintaining, receiving, and distributing inventory throughout the State Correctional Institution. The work supports daily operations and contributes to the overall security and effectiveness of the facility. As a Corrections Stock Clerk, you will perform the following duties:
- Inventory Management: Receive, store, and distribute stock throughout the institution while keeping an accurate delivery log
- Inmate Oversight: Provide direction, training, and supervision to inmates assigned to warehouse tasks
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, hand trucks, delivery vehicles, and other tools to move materials
- Supply Purchasing: Initiate requisitions and order needed materials and office supplies through SAP systems

- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a paid lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of stockroom, warehouse, retail sales, or clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires possession of an active motor vehicle license.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
