Working closely with Product and Manufacturing Quality, Warranty and Service Operations, Product Development, and Finance teams, the analyst identifies trends, uncovers root causes, and supports continuous improvement initiatives that improve product reliability and reduce warranty costs. Success in this role requires strong analytical and statistical expertise, the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights, and effective collaboration across crossfunctional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and automated reports using Power BI, Power Query, and Excel to monitor product quality and warranty performance

  • Analyze large datasets including warranty claims, product returns, service data, and consumer feedback to identify trends and root causes of quality issues

  • Generate actionable insights to support product reliability improvements and warranty cost reduction initiatives

  • Build and apply predictive models to forecast product failures, identify emerging risks, and support proactive decisionmaking

  • Translate Voice of the Consumer data into clear improvement opportunities for product and quality teams

  • Partner with Field Quality Engineers to support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure data insights influence product design, manufacturing processes, and service strategies

  • Create clear, compelling visualizations and presentations for stakeholders, including senior leadership

  • Standardize and improve data processes, reporting accuracy, and data accessibility across quality systems

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by linking data insights to operational and financial outcomes

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)

  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or a related role, preferably within manufacturing, quality, or service environments

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, analysis, and modeling

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and advanced Excel

  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling, and exploratory data analysis techniques

  • Experience working with quality, warranty, or customer service data

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex insights to both technical and nontechnical audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning, and forecasting models

  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Azure or Databricks

  • Knowledge of quality methodologies such as Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, or root cause analysis

  • Experience in the appliance or consumer durable goods industry

Benefits include:

  • Flexible work hours/hybrid work environment

  • Medical, dental, vision and life insurance

  • Competitive holiday and vacation time off program

  • Retirement Savings Plan (401(k)) with relevant company contribution.

  • Discounted products and an EAP upon hire and tuition reimbursement after 12 months of service
