Job Description

The Manager - Global Affluent and Benefits role is responsible for supporting Visa's product benefit strategies across the globe. Product benefits include-upgraded experiences, lounge access, complimentary services with in-demand providers, etc. This position will oversee these benefit partnerships with key travel brands, with a primary focus on relationship management and go-to-market support. As part of the role, you will engage across all the product platform teams, key vendors, and other functions across the organization, including Marketing, Business Development, Finance, Client Management, etc., requiring a high degree of cross-functional collaboration and engagement. This position will be based in Visa's San Francisco, Foster City, or Austin offices.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage on-boarded partnerships including contract management, activation strategies, and test and control plans to maximize the potential of sourced partners
  • Actively engage with client-facing teams to develop competitive premium products and customized engagement opportunities that optimize Visa travel benefits to win and retain deals
  • Create and produce program performance dashboards to facilitate information flow and share business insights with various stakeholders
  • Work with key internal partners such as Sales, Marketing, Sourcing, and Legal.
  • Manage day-to-day project spend in coordination with Finance and Controllership. Includes raising POs and accepting invoices, and budget tracking and forecasting.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Work experience in payments, product management, marketing, account management, business development, or card benefits
  • A passion for the payments industry, and the prospect of working with leading travel and lifestyle brands
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Dynamic and self-motivated, able to drive ideas to deliver results

The estimated salary range for this positionis $131,600 to $233,700 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

Travel Requirements

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
