We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Coordinator to support daily accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone who is a self-starter, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for processing customer payments, managing invoicing, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial records while providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities * Process and record customer payments, including checks and electronic transactions * Generate and manage customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner * Monitor accounts to identify outstanding balances and follow up on overdue invoices * Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or payment issues * Communicate with customers regarding account status and payment inquiries * Maintain accurate records within accounting systems and databases * Answer inbound calls professionally and provide support related to accounts receivable * Assist with general administrative tasks and support accounting team projects * Provide backup support for other accounting functions as needed Required Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent * Basic accounting or accounts receivable experience * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Preferred Qualifications * Experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field * Prior experience working with invoicing or financial systems Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Nashville, TN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.57/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
