The Regional System Integration Manager (RSM) oversees business deployment and execution within their territory. Managing public safety contracts, the RSM handles the implementation and sustainment of mission-critical communication systems, with success measured by customer satisfaction, revenue, and margins. The Regional System Integration Manager (RSM) is a pivotal leadership role within Motorola Solutions' Mission Critical Services Organization, primarily focused on business operations in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Based in the T4 East Territory, the RSM is responsible for the end-to-end management of regional business activities.

Key accountabilities for this position include:

  • Supervising customer support contracts, deployment, and installation projects.

  • Administering repair depot agreements, contracts and system upgrade initiatives.

  • Ensuring the precise execution of maintenance and deployment work that exceeds standard contract requirements.

  • As a vital link in our matrixed structure, the RSM collaborates with internal partners and leverages team resources to meet customer needs. Success is defined by high customer satisfaction, revenue expansion, and maintaining strong gross margins across the contract portfolio.

    Ideal candidates possess strategic vision and exceptional leadership abilities to navigate complex customer engagements, particularly during critical outages or crises. This role provides a unique opportunity to drive growth and lead a dedicated team in the essential field of mission-critical communications infrastructure.

  • Manages the financial aspects of the assigned business portfolio, including revenue forecasting, cost management, containment, and investment planning.

  • Demonstrates strong financial acumen and understanding of profit and loss (P&L) elements and principles.

  • Collaborates closely with the Sales team throughout customer engagement, ensuring high-quality customer interactions and driving business growth.

  • Plays a direct role in the creation of large and/or complex service proposals, ensuring alignment between service approach, scope, staffing, and financial aspects.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The RSM provides leadership to a multi-disciplinary team, including Customer Support, System, and Field Service Technician Managers, with oversight of recruitment, mentorship, and performance evaluation.

  • Provides strategic guidance and oversees day-to-day operations to ensure the delivery of customer obligations, meeting both customer satisfaction and financial goals.

Territory and Travel:

  • Required locations for the RSM position include Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina

  • When not traveling, the individual will split their time between a home-office and company office locations.

  • Domestic travel is expected to account for approximately 25-50% of the time in this role.

Specific Knowledge/Skills:

  • Experience with Salesforce, Oracle/Services Lifecycle tool

  • Financial acumen and customer satisfaction mindset

  • Strong working knowledge of the Customer Call Center and the Network Operations Center offerings and procedures is preferred

  • Strong command of communication skills, both oral and written

  • Ability to communicate with customer IT personnel regarding WLAN and wired infrastructures.

  • Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer(s)

Target Base Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in one of the following: Public Safety, Communications, Wired/Wireless, Engineering, Services, Management, Customer Service, Customer Support, Sales Support, Account Management, Motorola Services, Military experience

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
