Your Opportunity + Impact

The Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst plays a key role in advancing LDG's data strategy by designing scalable analytics solutions, leading BI development initiatives, and shaping datadriven decision making across the organization.

Reporting to the Sr. Director - Enterprise Data & Risk Management, this role partners closely with crossfunctional leaders to define analytic needs, architect data models, oversee complex web applications and other reporting solutions, and ensure LDG's BI environment operates with accuracy, reliability, and governance discipline.

The Senior BI Analyst combines deep technical expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to mentor others while driving continual improvement in LDG's data and analytics ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads the design, development, and optimization of advanced web applications, dashboards, reporting architectures, and analytical models.
  • Serves as a subjectmatter expert in web application development, BI tools, data modeling best practices, and system integrations.
  • Partners with leadership to execute analytics strategy, prioritize initiatives, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Performs advanced data modeling, validation, auditing, and troubleshooting to ensure highquality enterprise reporting.
  • Oversees documentation of web applications, BI systems, data models, workflows, governance standards, and future-state architecture.
  • Designs and enhances complex queries, ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, and crossplatform integrations.
  • Provides guidance and mentorship to analysts, offering technical review and bestpractice recommendations.
  • Leads stakeholder engagements to define business requirements, evaluate reporting needs, and develop actionable insights.
  • Conducts indepth analysis of operational, financial, and projectbased performance data; delivers executiveready insights.
  • Drives improvements to ERP, CRM, project performance dashboards, and contract management reporting systems.
  • Researches emerging analytics tools, technologies, and practices; recommends enhancements to data architecture and BI strategy.
  • Develops and maintains robust application interfaces thatintegrate AI capabilities(e.g.,RAG pipelines,LLM APIs) into new and existing software architectures.

Education and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in web application development, BI, data analytics, reporting, and related technical fields. Experience in A/E or professional services environments preferred.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications in .NET, C#, BI or analytics (Power BI, Tableau, SQL) strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in C#, .NET, Entity Framework Core, HTML5, Typescript, CSS, Angular/Reactive frameworks.
  • Advanced SQL skills and strong understanding of relational, dimensional, and semantic data modeling.
  • Experience designing and managing ETL/ELT processes and cloudbased data solutions (SSIS, ADF, Databricks)
  • Deep understanding of ERP, CRM, and operational systems (Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint experience a strong plus).
  • Experience developing with and integrating AI tooling into existing code bases is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain technical documentation and governance artifacts.
  • Strong analytical, criticalthinking, and problemsolving abilities.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex findings to executives and nontechnical audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and projectmanagement capabilities.
  • Ability to manage complex, crossfunctional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
