As a Security Officer Patrol Building Access Control in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support people on site with strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or contractor entry requirements, and support traffic flow for employees, deliveries, and outbound shipments in accordance with location procedures.
• Observe industrial equipment areas and restricted spaces for security-related concerns, and communicate maintenance, access control, and/or operational issues through established reporting channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
