What you'll be doing...

Create, execute & drive field programs. Serve as Business Markets segment lead to work with C-level executives to build and execute proactive strategies to grow customer engagement. Analyze key data and develop strategies working with a large cross functional team. Serve as the voice of sales to pricing, product, training and marketing to help identify priorities and drive funnel activity, participation, engagement to revenue conversion and improve close rates of marketing programs. Provide executive updates to C level executives on progress and performance. Serve as the primary marketing lead for sales gap closure initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, execute and drive segment marketing strategy for Business Markets that includes customized campaigns, messaging, communication, pricing strategies, communications and sales enablement.

  • Serve as the marketing interface to work with C-level executives to build and execute proactive strategies to grow customer engagement.

  • Analyze key data and develop strategies working with a large cross functional team.

  • Serve as the voice of sales to pricing, product, training and marketing to help identify priorities and drive funnel activity, participation, engagement to revenue conversion and improve close rates of marketing programs.

  • Provide executive updates to C-level executives on progress and performance. Serve as the primary marketing lead for sales gap closure initiatives across the WLS and WLN portfolio.

  • Build and execute a data-driven annual and quarterly field marketing plan aligned to Verizon Business marketing and sales targets. Analyze marketing trends and customer insights to refine campaign focus and resource allocation. Set goals, budgets and timelines for each initiative and secure stakeholder alignment.

  • Localize and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (Email, social, digital, and in person events). Manage segment campaign calendars, content, and KPIs to ensure alignment with corporate strategy. Localize global campaigns and content for specific segments, regions, or accounts.

  • Lead outbound customer marketing activities and high-touch engagement programs to build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.Measure engagement and conversion to drive continuous improvement.

  • Act as a strategic partner to the sales team, providing them with the tools, collateral, and lead intelligence necessary to close deals.Partner closely with the regional sales team to support pipeline acceleration through joint planning, account-based initiatives, and enablement materials. Provide local insights and feedback to optimize go-to-market efforts.

  • Create proactive strategies to ensure sales readiness, drive adoption of Velocity Selling methodology and provide metrics and reporting on sales performance.

  • Represent marketing across the sales leadership team to obtain feedback and execute changes needed to ensure sales is successful in Business Markets.

  • Serve as the liaison across marketing to provide sales needs and requirements related to Velocity Selling and Rep efficiency.

  • Provide C level performance updates on rep efficiency and tactics associated with improving adoption.

  • Support roadmap decisions to enable the success of the Verizon Velocity selling methodology and tools that are needed by sales.

  • Create an innovative approach to deliver & track Internal communications.

  • Manage Strategic Programs & Product GTM Product Management. Strategic management of marketing tools).

  • Manage collaboration calendar for all programs. Develop internal content for internal forums inclusive of weekly communications, staff updates and collaborating calls between sales and marketing

  • Own the end-to-end logistics of field-level programs and targeted communications. Measure engagement and conversion to drive continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with product marketing to launch new features, launches, customer success stories, and solution positioning. Ensure consistent messaging and field readiness for product campaigns. Drive product participation and awareness.

  • Manage and optimize multi-regional marketing budgets, focusing on maximizing ROI through data-driven resource allocation.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Ten or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Experience developing B2B Marketing Strategies.

  • Experience leading a team.

  • Experience working in a matrix environment.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master's degree - more impressive if you have an MBA.

  • Experience using creative thinking in a fast paced, results-driven environment.

  • Experience with Velocity AI Suite.

  • Experience influencing and leading teams to deliver against complex initiatives.

  • Experience analyzing results, identifying gaps, and successfully pivoting.

  • A proven track record of working on successful B2B campaigns.

  • Strong brief writing and project management skills

  • Experience creating and executing successful marketing programs and campaigns, with KPI and ROI tracking experience.

  • Experience managing an operational budget for marketing programs.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
