What You Can Expect Working in The Welder/Fitter Position Responsibilities Proficiently welds components in flat, vertical and overhead positions. Performs daily fit up and lay out duties. Fabricates pieces, ensuring conformance with product specifications and blueprints. Maintains schedule and budgets for the task at hand and overall project. Cross-trains and uses additional trade skills in multiple stages of the manufacturing process as assigned.
