Position Highlights

The Eller College of Management is seeking a Program Coordinator for Full-Time and Evening MBA Programs who will be responsible for delivering comprehensive student services and academic advising to support student success from onboarding through graduation. This position serves as a primary point of contact for MBA students, providing guidance on academic planning, program policies, and university resources. The Program Coordinator collaborates closely with faculty, staff, and campus partners to ensure a high-quality student experience and efficient program operations.This role requires flexibility to support evening and weekend programming, including student events and recruitment activities, as well as occasional domestic and international travel. The position reports to the Associate Director of Full-Time and Evening MBA Programs in Tucson.

Duties & Responsibilities

Academic Advising & Student Support

  • Provide proactive, individualized academic advising to Full-Time and Evening MBA students regarding curriculum planning, course selection, and degree requirements.
  • Monitor student academic progress and identify at-risk students; develop intervention strategies and refer to appropriate campus resources.
  • Interpret and communicate university and program policies, procedures, and requirements.
  • Maintain accurate advising records and student data in university systems.
  • Support student onboarding, orientation, and transition activities.

Program Coordination & Student Academic Services

  • Coordinate and implement student services initiatives that enhance the MBA student experience, including workshops, professional development activities, and community-building events.
  • Serve as liaison between students, faculty, and administrative offices to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Support evening and weekend classes and review sessions as required.

Event Management & Logistics

  • Plan, coordinate, and assist managing program events such as orientation, graduation, and networking functions.
  • Attend on-campus and off-site events, which may include occasional travel.
  • Oversee logistics such as scheduling, vendor coordination, communications, and event execution.
  • Ensure a high level of professionalism and student engagement at all events.

Administrative Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain program records and ensure compliance with university policies and accreditation standards.
  • Assist with reporting, data tracking, and program assessment activities.
  • Support process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and student services delivery.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.

  • Masters degree in business or related field.
