Position Summary

The Digital IT Technical Specialist (Level 1) is responsible for the implementation and support of highly secure and resilient information technology solutions and is considered a subject matter expert. Accountable for delivery of technical systems/solutions, plus the architecture and documentation within their area of technical expertise, supporting enterprise and global environments while focused on continuous improvement in support of the IT strategic vision and roadmap.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IAM Specialist to join our team. The IAM Specialist will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our Identity and Access Management solutions, ensuring secure and efficient access control to our systems and applications. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive the organization's IAM strategy and security posture.

The role focuses on internal workforce identity lifecycle and governance, customer identity integration, and privileged access controls. This role will provide advanced operational support, automation, and architecture input for identity platforms while mentoring junior administrators and contributing to IAM roadmap initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Workforce IAM (Identity Governance & Administration)

    • Engineer and support identity lifecycle processes, access provisioning, certification campaigns, and policy enforcement using SailPoint ISC

    • Integrate enterprise applications, directories, and HR sources into governance workflows

    • Configure and maintain role models, access profiles, and SoD controls

    • Troubleshoot provisioning failures and optimize connector performance

    • Support audit, compliance, and access review initiatives

    • Develop automation and API-driven workflows for lifecycle events

  • Customer IAM (CIAM)

    • Implement and maintain authentication and authorization services using Okta

    • Configure SSO, MFA, federation, and lifecycle policies for external users

    • Integrate applications using modern identity protocols (OIDC, OAuth2, SAML)

    • Monitor platform health, troubleshoot user access issues, and tune policies

    • Support secure customer onboarding and digital experience initiatives

  • Privileged Access Management

    • Engineer and administer privileged access controls using Delinea

    • Configure vaulting, session controls, and credential rotation

    • Integrate PAM with enterprise infrastructure and applications

    • Support privileged access reviews and audit evidence collection

    • Improve least-privilege posture through automation and analytics

  • Cross-Domain Engineering

    • Participate in architecture and design reviews for IAM integrations (TDA)

    • Develop scripts, automation, and documentation to improve operational maturity

    • Collaborate with cybersecurity and risk teams on policy enforcement

    • Mentor junior administrators and contribute to knowledge sharing

    • Support incident response and root cause analysis related to identity services

    • Contribute to IAM roadmap planning and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 4-year University / College Degree and significant technical / business certifications

  • Five or more years' experience in Information Technology

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to maintain professional and strong relationships with business partners, contractors, and stakeholders

  • Demonstrate Agile methodologies and can apply those processes to everyday work

  • Hands-on experience administering and configuring:

    • SailPoint ISC or similar identity governance platform

    • Okta or equivalent CIAM/SSO platform

    • Delinea or comparable PAM solution

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Identity lifecycle management

    • Access governance models

    • Authentication and federation protocols

    • Directory services (AD/Azure AD/LDAP)

  • Experience integrating SaaS and enterprise applications

  • Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, REST APIs)

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

  • Experience working in regulated or audited environments

  • Demonstrate a high degree of emotional intelligence and organizational awareness

  • Available to provide after-hours technical support as needed

  • Ability to travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • IAM or security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CIAM, SailPoint, Okta, or PAM certifications)

  • Experience supporting enterprise IAM transformations or migrations

  • Experience designing role-based or attribute-based access models

  • Exposure to cloud identity architectures

  • Familiarity with Zero Trust concepts
