As our next Software Engineer/ Developer for NAVAIR, you'll collaborate with talented professionals to create innovative, mission-critical solutions that empower naval aviation and defense operations. Your expertise will help shape cutting-edge systems, enhance national security, and drive technological advancement for our nation. Responsibilities Position serves as the FMS Engineer for the Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC) program. The TMPC program is a software intensive solution that supports critical planning and execution for the Tomahawk cruise missile weapon system. The program has high visibility, involves significant collaboration with other DoD Services, and is relied upon to be first-to-the-fight. You will be part of a dynamic team that is driving innovative technology and exploring modern Agile acquisition processes to support FMS for the TWS. You will manage technical sustainment and modification of the TMPC software in support of FMS. You will conduct traditional systems engineering, digital engineering, and Agile software processes.
Apply systems engineering processes to the analysis, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of TMPC mission planning software and technical documentation for the Tomahawk missile system for FMS programs.
Qualifications
Pay Transparency Statement AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $150,000.00/Yr. - USD $180,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
