Location: San Diego, CA

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Second Shift: 2:30 PM-11:00 PM

Manufacturing Associate Requirements:



  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident status is required to meet export compliance requirements.
  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing, production, assembly, or machine operation experience.
  • Experience operating manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, verniers, and gauges.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to cross-train and work in multiple manufacturing areas as business needs change.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or 5S principles is a plus.
  • Ability to lift, stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement.

Manufacturing Associate Job Duties:



  • Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust manufacturing equipment to meet production and quality goals.
  • Perform machine changeovers, tooling changes, and basic equipment adjustments as production requirements change.
  • Assemble components and finished products according to work instructions, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
  • Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, verniers, and gauges, to verify product dimensions and tolerances.
  • Package finished products, create labels, and stage materials for shipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and organize production materials within the work area.
  • Complete required production documentation, quality records, and performance tracking reports.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and workplace safety initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Logistics, and Production teams to improve manufacturing processes and productivity.
  • Cross-train in multiple production areas and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety policies and PPE requirements.
  • Safely work with approved manufacturing chemicals while following established procedures.
  • Meet daily production, efficiency, quality, and attendance expectations.
