Make Your Mark: The Regional Vice President, Mid-Market is a seasoned, strategic sales leader responsible for driving the growth of BlackLine's Agentic Financial Operations Platform in North America. Targeting Controllers and CFOs of corporations with annual revenue up to $750 million, this leader will shape our go-to-market strategy, scale a high-performing team, and establish BlackLine as the undisputed platform of choice in the mid-market sector You'll Get To: * Build & Lead a World-Class Team: Recruit, mentor, and scale a team of high-performing sales executives, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous professional development. * Drive GTM Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive regional go-to-market strategy to accelerate new account generation, expand market share, and penetrate key strategic targets. * Optimize Sales Execution: Elevate the team's sales methodology by shifting focus from basic activity metrics to advanced value-selling approaches, strategic prospecting, and complex deal execution. * Deliver Consistent Revenue Growth: Consistently achieve and exceed annual and monthly revenue targets through meticulous pipeline management, rigorous qualification methodologies, and highly accurate forecasting. * Act as Executive Sponsor: Serve as a strategic advisor and executive sponsor on high-stakes opportunities, directly engaging with C-level prospects to navigate complex financial software evaluations and close marquee deals. * Lead Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner seamlessly with Marketing, Alliances, Customer Success, Legal, and Product teams to align on market needs, streamline the deal cycle (RFPs, demos, contracts), and ensure exceptional client satisfaction. * Maintain Competitive Advantage: Continuously analyze market trends, ERP ecosystem shifts, and competitor movements to dynamically adapt field execution and blunt competitive threats. What You'll Bring: * Strategic Vision & Execution: A highly strategic, people-oriented leader with a proven track record of scaling territories, driving transformational growth, and executing long-term business plans. * Extensive Leadership Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of progressive B2B software/SaaS sales experience, with at least 3+ years in a sales leadership role managing account executives. * Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the Office of the CFO, with a strong background in selling complex financial, accounting, or enterprise solutions directly to CFOs and Controllers. * Track Record of Success: A documented history of consistently exceeding team quotas, driving high individual rep attainment, and managing multi-million dollar regional pipelines. * Executive Presence: Exceptional consultative selling style with the capability to interact confidently and persuasively at the C-Level. * Change Management Mastery: Strong influencing skills, capable of driving organizational change, adopting new sales methodologies, and coaching teams through complex market dynamics. * Exceptional Communication: Superior presentation, written, and interpersonal skills. * High Integrity: A commitment to the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical sales practices. * Education & Travel: Bachelor's degree required; must be able to travel up to 50% of the time. Pay Transparency Statement: Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans. We are committed to pay transparency and ensuring candidates have clear information about compensation expectations. For roles that include variable incentive components such as an Incentive Compensation Plan (ICP) or On-Target Earnings (OTE), the compensation structure may follow a split model - for example, a 50/50, 70/30, or 60/40 ratio between base salary and variable incentive.
