How You Will Make History Here...

The Copywriter will be part of the Studio C Creative & Content Strategy team, partnering closely with the Art Director to develop and bring ideas to life across social, digital, and omni ecommerce platforms - crafting compelling, culturally relevant copy that reflects how people talk about, discover, and experience our brands and food today.

Working across a range of brands and content needs, this role helps shape how Campbell's brands connect with audiences - balancing storytelling, brand voice, and performance to create content people actually want to engage with.

At the core, this role brings strong instincts for brand voice, curiosity for culture, and an understanding of how messaging and content work across digital-first platforms - combining craft and emerging AI tools to unlock faster ideation, sharper thinking, and more scalable content development. This role will help fuel a high-volume content engine for some of the most iconic brands in food.

This is a hybrid role based in Camden, NJ.

What You Will Do...

  • Partner with the Art Director to lead concept development across high-, mid-, and low-priority projects (including photoshoot creative direction, video storyboards, organic social concepts, sales sizzle scripts, etc.)

  • Translate strategy and insights into clear, engaging, platform-relevant messaging

  • Adapt tone and messaging across brands and platforms while maintaining brand voice consistency

  • Leverage AI and emerging tools to support idea generation, copy exploration, and rapid iteration across concepts and executions

  • Optimize copy based on performance data, platform best practices, and evolving trends

  • Contribute to rapid-turn content needs

  • Participate in brainstorms and bring proactive, insight-driven ideas to the table

  • Art Director (paired creative partner)

  • Sr. Production Designer

  • Studio C & Test Kitchen teams

  • Consumer Experience teams (Social, CE, Digital UX, Omni, Digital Shelf, PR, Insights) and Brand teams

What You Bring to the Table... (Must Have)

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Marketing, or related field

  • 6+ years of copywriting experience in an agency, brand, or in-house creative environment.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating social-first and digital content writing

  • Deep understanding of platform-native voice (TikTok, Instagram, etc.)

  • Ability to flex tone

  • Strong collaboration skills in fast-paced, high-volume environments

  • Experience in food culture or food brand experience

  • Experience using AI and emerging tools to support ideation, copy development, and rapid iteration, bringing a proactive approach to exploring how technology can enhance creative thinking and content output

It Would Be Great if You Have... (Nice to Have)

  • Familiarity with SEO principles and digital shelf content

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$109,700-$150,800

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
