A fundamental understanding of aircraft design and construction principles required. Previous Gulfstream experience across all aircraft models is desired. Practical hands-on aircraft repair experience and problem solving. The ability to effectively work with and support a multi-discipline team of engineers, mechanics, technicians, Quality Control, upper management, etc. Strong technical skills in mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, including but not limited to Flight Controls, Hydraulics, Powerplant, and electrical/avionic systems. Experience required in aircraft data conversion and analysis, including FDR, P4, ACMF, and FHDB data. Working knowledge of 14 CFR Part 25 regulations highly desired. Experience with Major Repair and Alteration required. Experience with Structural Repair Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalog, Aircraft Maintenance Manuals required. Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related curriculum applicable to the respective job position required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 13 yrs specific technical discipline or 15 yrs broad eng experience in several technical disciplines with Bachelors. Experience credit considered for related adv degrees limited to 2 yrs for Masters and 4 yrs for PhD in fields applicable to this job.
