Our MIG welder opening in Vonore is for someone who wants steady pay, a team that works hard, and the satisfaction of seeing real results. Requirements: Technical school certificate in welding preferred, or 3-6 months of related welding experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Experience with MIG welding in a manufacturing environment preferred Ability to read blueprints, part prints, weld symbols, and process sheets Proficient in using measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers Ability to set welding parameters, including heat, wire speed, and burn-back rate Knowledge of welding equipment components, wire feed systems, and fixture operation Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality welds Ability to identify quality issues and troubleshoot basic welding problems Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production environment Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift Job Duties: Perform MIG welding of metal components used in heavy truck seating assemblies Weld components both in and out of fixtures to meet production specifications Read blueprints, weld symbols, and process sheets to ensure accurate fabrication Set and adjust welding equipment parameters for quality and efficiency Inspect parts and identify quality issues that may affect weld integrity Identify welding fixtures requiring repair or preventative maintenance Use measuring tools to verify part dimensions and specifications Operate and maintain welding equipment safely and efficiently Follow all company safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and production guidelines Cross-train in other work cell operations and assist with additional production duties as needed Benefits: Solid Weekly Pay: No waiting on payday.
