Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$27.48

Completes training to perform clinical laboratory testing for all patient types but is not permitted to release patient results. Completes training to perform waived, moderate, and high complexity tests by state, federal and other regulatory requirements but is not permitted to release patient results. Completes training to perform equipment maintenance, quality control and quality management activities by manufacturers recommendations and departmental policies and procedures. Completes training to be able to prioritize workload and demonstrate flexibility to meet customer and departmental needs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Associates or Bachelors degree with a concentration in laboratory technology, chemical, or biological sciences required.

Experience: Successful completion of an accredited clinical laboratory technologist training program by the State of Florida Department of Health, Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel Florida Administrative Code.

License: Eligible for State of Florida Department of Health, Medical Technologist
