Technician I - Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) Job Summary The Technician I - Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) is an entry-level field technician responsible for the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of wireless communication infrastructure in commercial buildings, stadiums, healthcare facilities, campuses, and other venues. This role supports the deployment of DAS networks by installing structured cabling, fiber optics, antennas, and related equipment while adhering to company quality and safety standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with the installation of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), small cell, and wireless network infrastructure. Install, terminate, label, test, and troubleshoot coaxial, fiber optic, and Category cabling. Mount and install antennas, remote units, access points, and supporting hardware. Perform cable routing and pathway installation, including conduit, cable trays, J-hooks, and innerduct. Read and interpret project drawings, floor plans, schematics, and installation documentation. Conduct testing and certification of cabling systems using industry-standard test equipment. Assist with system troubleshooting, signal verification, and performance testing. Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, redline drawings, test results, and material usage. Follow all company and customer safety requirements, including OSHA standards and site-specific policies. Support project teams in meeting installation schedules and customer delivery deadlines. Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in proper working condition. Participate in ongoing technical and safety training programs. Perform other duties as assigned by project leadership. Min USD $28.50/Hr. Max USD $29.00/Hr.

Qualifications

Physical and Mental Requirements:

Regular attendance is mandatory Must have entry level knowledge of operating warehouse machinery and equipment. Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and help create, develop and implement project process improvement(s). Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners. Prefer familiarity with cycle-counting, order picking, shipping, receiving and operating a forklift. Must be able to work at heights, off of a ladder and in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. Must meet Company minimum driving standards. Regular attendance is mandatory. Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements: Must have High School diploma or GED equivalency. Must have a minimum of two (2) years' experience in a warehouse environment. Must have a basic understanding of operating systems (SAP, Spectrum). Must have intermediate skill level using Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook. Must be able to meet Company minimum driving standards. Must be able to use power tools. Must have the physical agility to conduct warehouse inventory. Knowledge of 5S and Lean environments a plus.
