Superintendent - Job Summary The Superintendent serves as the overall leader for medium to large-scale construction or telecommunications projects, with full responsibility for project execution, staffing, customer relations, safety, quality, scheduling, and financial performance. This role oversees all project-related personnel and acts as the primary liaison between the company and the customer, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all project operations, personnel, and resources. Recruit, hire, train, coach, evaluate, and manage field staff. Serve as the primary customer contact and maintain strong client relationships. Oversee project schedules, staffing plans, workload distribution, and delivery timelines. Ensure profitability through budget management, cost control, invoicing, and financial reporting. Monitor job progress, productivity, quality, and compliance with project requirements. Review job costs, change orders, work orders, timesheets, and project documentation for accuracy. Conduct site walks, quality inspections, outage prevention activities, and maintain as-built documentation. Troubleshoot and resolve technical and operational issues. Improve operational processes related to estimating, purchasing, scheduling, warehousing, and reporting. Promote and enforce safety standards while partnering with training teams on safety and quality initiatives. Lead operational meetings, training sessions, and project reviews. Manage company vehicles, tools, and inventory. Ensure successful project closeout and completion of all required project documentation. Ideal Candidate Profile Proven experience managing large construction, telecommunications, low-voltage, or infrastructure projects. Strong leadership experience supervising field teams, foremen, and project staff. Excellent customer relationship and communication skills. Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls. Experience with quality assurance, safety compliance, scheduling, and resource management. Ability to read drawings, troubleshoot technical issues, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Results-driven leader with a focus on safety, productivity, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. Physical and Mental Requirements:

*Regular attendance is mandatory *The Superintendent must be self-motivated, positive in approach, and convey anappropriate professional image. *The Superintendent must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees,vendors, clients and business partners. *The Superintendent must possess proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills andthe ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s). *The Superintendent must also have excellent organizational skills and the ability todevelop branch and job processes and best practices. *The Superintendent must have proven high skill level to interpret blueprints and otherproject documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting and qualityrequirements. *The Superintendent must be able to travel within the branch territory and/or regionalterritory as needed. *The Superintendent must possess the ability to learn and teach the Company andcustomer project management systems. *The Superintendent must be able to work at heights, off of a ladder and in confinedspaces, lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds. *The Superintendent must be able to see and distinguish different colors, read small printand hear and recognize audible signals such as dial tones. Tools: Screwdriver (regular and Phillips), torpedo level, tape measure, snips (with belt sheath), pliers (needle nose and channel locks), hammer, wrench set, cable stripper, flashlight and gloves. Muck boots/water boots. Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements: Prefer a minimum of three (3) years' experience of supervisory or managerial experience. *The Superintendent must have a minimum of three (3) years' experience as a LeadCommunications Technician or similar position. *The Superintendent must also have a minimum of five (5) years' experience intelecommunications or a related technical or construction field. *Must be proficient with a computer and be skilled with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel andMS Project). *Must meet Company minimum driving standards. *The Superintendent Must have demonstrated verifiable ability to define a project, create aproject scope of work, create an estimate, develop detailed associated tasks and managethese to final completion and customer turnover. *Must be able to use the following trade Tools: punch tool with 110 block and 66 blockblade, 6/8 position combo crimp tool, Krone/3M/BIX, butt set, volt-ohmmeter, 4-paircontinuity tester and 5-gang punch tool.
