Overview The Senior Manager, Regional International Operations is accountable for the fiscal and operational leadership, direction, and overall management of international operations within the assigned region. Provides leadership to international operations teams to ensure consistent execution of the regional operations. Responsible for driving operational excellence through the implementation of standardized processes, compliance with company policies and procedures, and adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements. Provides oversight of key operational performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring continuous improvement, accountability, and alignment with organizational goals while modeling and acting in accordance with the Company's Core Values. Supports the growth of international business by ensuring operational capabilities align with commercial strategy, customer requirements, and market opportunities in addition to supporting strategic customer initiatives, large-scale opportunities, and regional business development efforts to achieve revenue growth and long-term profitability. Responsibilities
Responsible to support the business development, sales, marketing and new account development of international services for the region to ensure that maximum transportation revenue is generated to achieve profitability goals and objectives. Work collaboratively with sales, marketing, customer service, operations, IT and corporate administration to ensure efficient operations. Assists in new account on-boarding and SOP development. Plan and implement appropriate resources (staffing, training, equipment, and systems) to ensure contractual compliance and delivery of quality services that meet and exceed the customer's expectations
Qualifications Education * Bachelor's Degree in business administration, international business, supply chain or operations management or equivalent degree (required) * Master's Degree (preferred) Experience * 10+ years of international freight forwarding experience (air, ocean, brokerage) (required) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulation Medium * ATA DGS (Dangerous Goods Regulations) Medium * Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Medium * Cargowise High * MS Officce Medium * Knowledge of international air, ocean and road and customs brokerage processes High * Exhibits strong communication skills both oral and written to motivate staff and develop effective working relationships with peers, executives, and clients.
