Description and Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Schedule and track domestic shipments with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers
  • Monitor shipment status, resolve delivery issues, and communicate updates to internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, company policies, and customer requirements
  • Maintain accurate shipment data within ERP systems
  • Monitor logistics performance metrics and prepare routine operational reports
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve transportation processes, reduce freight costs, and enhance service levels
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, customers, and internal departments to resolve transportation-related issues
  • Support order fulfillment by ensuring shipping schedules and transportation requirements are met
  • Assist with carrier performance monitoring, vendor relationship management, and service evaluations
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline transportation and logistics operations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, freight coordination, or supply chain operations
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs)
  • Knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations
  • Experience with freight auditing and carrier management
  • Experience using Power BI, or other reporting tools a plus

Basic Requirements:
