$21.39 - $25.13 per hour

Purpose



This position provides administrative and technical support to public health projects by managing routine logistical processes, documentation, and data collection to ensure operational excellence.

This position assists in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of project activities to support public health initiatives while ensuring collaboration and timely reporting. This position will support the Center's project and education portfolio, focused on our CME activities.




Duties and Responsibilities




  • Arrange and coordinate virtual and in-person meetings and events, including scheduling, participant communication, and providing technical support during gatherings.
  • Organize, prepare, and distribute project materials such as agendas, registration forms, meeting minutes, and related documents.
  • Coordinate event logistics by researching venue options, managing contracts, and overseeing room setups, audiovisual arrangements, and catering needs.
  • Facilitate trainings and meetings through scheduling, note-taking, and ensuring effective communication during sessions.
  • Assist in creating and updating training materials, process guides, presentations, FAQs, and other educational documents for internal and external audiences.
  • Support data collection, entry, and analysis by creating documents, generating reports and maintaining accurate records.
  • Provide virtual technical support during meetings by troubleshooting issues, managing screen sharing, and organizing breakout rooms.
  • Maintain professional relationships with stakeholders by communicating effectively and representing organizational values.
  • Represent the best interests of MPHI at all times.
  • Additional duties as assigned.




Qualifications/Requirements




  • High school diploma or equivalent with 3-6 years of experience.




Important Skills and Characteristics




  • Demonstrate proficiency in office applications and cloud-based collaboration tools to support virtual and in-person operations.
  • Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities to ensure clarity and effectiveness of distributed materials.
  • Organize and present information clearly through efficient document creation, data entry, and report generation.
  • Apply knowledge of administrative support practices including meeting logistics, scheduling, and event coordination to manage diverse tasks.
  • Utilize effective time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and remote participants to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Understand and incorporate organizational values, including servant leadership, health equity, and social justice, into daily work.

Work Environment



This job is performed in an indoor office environment and involves regular use of computers and other standard office equipment. The work environment may include limited exposure to moderate noise levels. May require limited travel.
