Responsibilities



  • Inspecting buildings and grounds to ensure compliance with safety and accessibility codes
  • Identifying maintenance and repair needs across the property
  • Scheduling repair projects, cleaning routines and capital improvements
  • Supervising maintenance staff and delegating repair, cleaning and facilities tasks
  • Managing service contracts with external vendors
  • Creating and monitoring facilities budgets for maintenance, repairs and supplies
  • Coordinating repairs
  • Establishing and enforcing workplace safety, emergency protocols


Qualifications



  • Advanced mechanical skills
  • Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, electrical, and other building systems
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and do other labor-intensive tasks
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • Great leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of control room operations
  • Basicelectricaland controls for troubleshooting operations
  • Electricalmaintenance of switch gears, breakers, panels, motors, etc.
  • Microsoft Suite experience (Powerpoint, Excel, Word)


Requirements



  • Experience with facility maintenance 5 plus years
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous leadership experience
