High Level Statement of the Role:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine troubleshooting and repair on equipment and support systems as required. Roles and Responsibilities: (Include Safety and Environmental, Quality, and Job Specific Roles and Responsibilities) * Perform routine trouble shooting and repair on equipment and support systems as required * Supports and participates in Continuous Improvement Events * Fabricate fixtures, jigs and carts per drawings approved by management or plant engineer. * Request the purchase of all needed supplies or parts. * Document necessary information. * Keep work space and equipment clean and well organized. * Perform proper preventive maintenance as required on any equipment being used. * Follow all safety guidelines and uses required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Responsible for actively participating in the maintenance and execution of National Office Furniture Emergency Action Plan. * Supports 5S initiatives * Implement process improvements. * Support the Vision and Guiding Principles and other policies of Kimball International and National Office Furniture. * Follow and support the Quality system. * Performs job rotation as directed. * Support our Environmental Management System (EMS). *RESUME REQUIRED* | |
