Plant Manager - Phoenix, AZ
Lead the operation. Build the team. Elevate performance. PAC by ProAmpac is looking for a Plant Manager who leads from the floor, thinks like a business owner, and builds a manufacturing culture where accountability, safety, quality, and continuous improvement are part of everyday work. This role oversees total facility performance, including production, financials, engineering, maintenance, quality, materials, supply chain, warehousing, logistics, safety, and people leadership. If you've led a highspeed, highvolume manufacturing operation, developed strong leaders, and used Lean and Continuous Improvement to deliver measurable results, this is an opportunity to influence an entire operation.
What You'll Lead
As Plant Manager, you will:
Own plant performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, people, and customer expectations Develop and execute the annual operating budget; manage expenses, standard costs, labor, materials, and variances Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, engagement, and operational discipline Lead initiatives that increase throughput, improve quality, reduce cost and inventory, strengthen reliability, and support profitable growth Partner across Safety, Quality, Engineering, R&D, L&D, HR, Supply Chain, and other functions to improve plant performance Strengthen production planning, inventory management, vendor relationships, maintenance effectiveness, and material flow Use data, operational metrics, ERP systems, and structured problemsolving to drive sustainable improvements Champion Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies Ensure strong Quality Management Systems and manufacturing processes are maintained and improved Lead capital, engineering, process improvement, and operational projects that enhance longterm capability

What You Bring
We are seeking an experienced manufacturing leader with strong business acumen and operational depth.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership 3+ years of senior manufacturing management Demonstrated success in highspeed, highvolume manufacturing Strong Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience Proven leadership, coaching, and teambuilding capabilities Experience managing budgets, financial performance, income statements, standard costs, and variance analysis Strong understanding of operations, quality, engineering, maintenance, materials, supply chain, inventory, and production planning Excellent communication and crossfunctional leadership skills
Preferred Experience
Leadership of a manufacturing operation with 250+ employees Experience in printing, blownfilm or coextruded extrusion, flexible packaging, protective packaging, converting, or related environments Industry or Continuous Improvement certifications Strong ERP and manufacturing systems knowledge Advanced Excel and analytical capabilities
