Who we are: The Ad Council convenes creative storytellers to educate, unite and uplift audiences by opening hearts, inspiring action and accelerating change. For more than 80 years, the nonprofit organization and its partners in advertising, media, marketing and tech have been behind some of the country's most iconic social impact campaigns - Smokey Bear,Friends Don't Let Friends Drive Drunk, Tear the Paper Ceiling and many more. Job summary: The Ad Council's Media Team is looking for a Senior Manager, Media Engagement (Contract Employee) who will oversee and lead a diverse portfolio of accounts, securing targeted media exposure for the Ad Council's social impact campaigns, including, but not limited to the ideation, execution, and evaluation of strategic partnerships. You will sit within the Media Strategy and Engagement Center of Excellence (COE). We are seeking candidates who are passionate about building new relationships with media companies, cultivating existing ones and exploring innovative ways to work with all partners to deliver maximum impact that will benefit the Ad Council's social issue campaigns. You may also be responsible for managing or mentoring junior team members. Engagement & Compensation: This is a contract employee role. This means that, while the position is at all times one of "at will employment", the Ad Council anticipates at present that the employment length would be approximately 6 months with the possibility to extend the contract. The compensation for this position is within the range of $7,500 - $8,000 monthly (depending on level of experience) and is paid semi-monthly. Contract employees will be eligible to participate in limited benefits and paid time off. We are also open to this role being a fully remote position. What you'll do:
