You will work directly on the shop floor operating heavy overhead cranes, positioning structural steel saddles, and securing heavy tie-downs. This is a highly physical, mechanically intense role that requires precision assembly under strict safety tolerances.

What You'll Do
  • Operate Overhead Cranes: Safely lift, position, and align 12,000+ lbs commercial vehicle chassis with millimeter precision
  • Install Transport Saddles: Bolt, clamp, and torque heavy-duty steel transport hardware using high-capacity industrial impact tools
  • Secure Loads: Route, tension, and lock heavy-duty transport chains and binders to guarantee zero vehicle shifting
  • Adjust Vehicle Systems: Isolate air suspensions and inflate rolling tires to exact transit specifications
  • Perform Quality Inspections: Verify bolt torque, check component clearances, and inspect rigging gear for wear
  • Maintain Safety Focus: Enforce strict overhead lift zones and follow mechanical lift plans and engineering specs
  • Non CDL driving experience: Moving semi's into, out of and adjusting in decking process

What You'll Bring
  • Rigging Experience: Background in heavy equipment rigging, overhead crane operation, or commercial vehicle assembly
  • Industrial Tool Mastery: Expert proficiency with high-torque impact wrenches, chain binders, and calibrated torque wrenches
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret and physically execute mechanical lift plans and torque spec charts
  • Heavy Lifting: Physical capability to continuously lift and maneuver 50 to 75 pounds
  • High Mobility: Ability to climb ladders, crawl under truck chassis, and work in tight spaces
