SUMMARY

The Senior Inventory and Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory transactions, receiving, storing, and distributing raw materials, finished goods, and work-in-progress (WIP) items based on the daily Production Schedule. This role ensures compliance with company standards while facilitating smooth warehouse operations. The coordinator also plays a key role in cycle counting, inventory accuracy, and managing materials flow between different storage locations. In addition, this position will support warehouse operations, including the safe handling of materials and equipment, and will assist in the efficient organization and control of inventory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Review and ensure the accuracy of all inventory transactions (e.g., material requests, WIP completions, returns, purchase orders, and manufacturing orders).

* Report and process all inventory transactions in Oracle, including materials requests, returns to stock, and internal sales orders (ISOs) for transfers between locations.

* Maintain a high level of inventory accuracy (98% or higher) across all storage locations.

* Assist in cycle counting, discrepancy resolution, and reporting to management.

* Process transactions for disposals, returns to vendors, and purchase order receipts.

* Reconcile written documentation versus system information.

* Unload inbound shipments, ensure proper receiving, and move products to storage locations.

* Safely and efficiently pull and prepare products for shipping, transfers, or manufacturing usage (staging).

* Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to transport materials and maintain proper storage conditions.

* Inspect and maintain equipment, report any discrepancies in safety or operation, and ensure proper upkeep of tools and property.

* Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas, including performing housekeeping tasks and keeping records of inventory movements.

* Assist in the safe handling, labeling, and storage of materials, following all food safety practices and company guidelines.

* Conduct regular audits of inventory and warehouse procedures, ensuring compliance with company safety and GMP standards.

* Track and report daily inventory accuracy, discrepancies, and material movements to the cycle counter or supervisor.

* Generate and present reports on inventory transactions, discrepancies, and audit findings.

* Collaborate with warehouse management to ensure employees follow proper inventory procedures.

* Communicate any inventory shortages, material problems, or quality deviations to supervisors.

* Support last-minute scheduling changes and communicate them to relevant team members.

* Participate in physical inventories and cycle counts as needed.

* Assist in processing employee reviews and providing feedback to warehouse supervisors.

* Work in all Amy's Kitchen warehouse facilities as needed, with flexibility for overtime during peak seasons.

* Support the management of leftovers, ensuring proper logging and storage of excess materials in freezers.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

While this position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, it may require the supervision of administrative staff or Warehouse Worker II during the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor. The role also involves leading cycle counting efforts and providing direction to warehouse staff on proper inventory procedures.

EDUCATION

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; some college or technical training preferred.

EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse environment, with at least 6 months to 1 year of experience in inventory control.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid motor vehicle license and certification as PIT driver (valid within the previous 12 months)

SKILLS

o Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (Oracle preferred) and warehouse operations.

o Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

o This position requires attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to convey discrepancies or errors to co-workers.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

o Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

o Ability to read and interpret and explain documents such as procedures picks list, material requisitions, and Bill of Lading.

o Ability to write routine reports and correspondence both in English and Spanish.

o Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

o Proficient in performing basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

o Capable of calculating rates, ratios, percentages, and interpreting bar graphs.

o Experienced in using units of currency, weight, volume, and distance for calculations.

o Must pass the Warehouse Pre-Employment Math Test

REASONING ABILITY

* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
