Inpatient Psychiatrist
UNC Rex - Rex Hospital - Main Campus Location: Raleigh, NC Position Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week) UNC Rex is seeking a psychiatrist to provide inpatient psychiatric care. Qualifications
- MD or DO degree required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Eligible for North Carolina medical licensure
Preferred Experience
- Clinical experience in psychiatry
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.

Education Requirements:
* Active member of the Rex Hospital Medical Staff, including meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
* Board Certified Internal Medicine
* DEA; MD
Professional Experience Requirements:
* Prefer prior hospitalist experience.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
* Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.REASONING ABILITYHigh-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSNorth Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
