Description

Are you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and ready to take your career to the next level in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Join Green Bay Packaging as a Cutting Operator, where you'll play a key role in transforming raw materials into high-quality packaging solutions.

In this hands-on role, you'll set up, operate, and maintain state-of-the-art die-cutting machines to cut, crease, and shape paperboard and other substrates. You'll ensure precision, troubleshoot issues, and maintain production efficiency-all while contributing to a team that values safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities



  • Perform both off-press and on-press make-readies with accuracy and efficiency
  • Set up and operate die-cutting presses according to job specifications
  • Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Maintain equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly
  • Collaborate with team members & management to meet production goals and deadlines
  • Support a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications



  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Experience with automated die-cutting, stripping, and carton blanking systems is a plus-but not required\


Work Schedule



  • Must be willing to work either


    • 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm) after training.



OR




    • 3rd Shift (Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 6am) after training.



Training: Day shift (6am -2pm, Monday-Friday) for up to 120 days

Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required

High School (required)
Experience
Basic computer skills (preferred)
Basic Math and Reading Skills (preferred)
