Senior Analyst, Strategic Engagement -Aon Inpoint Shape Strategy Across the Global Insurance Industry

Aon Inpoint is Aon's strategy advisory business, helping insurers, reinsurers, and capital partners solve complex business challenges and identify opportunities for growth.

As a Senior Analyst, Strategic Engagement, you will work directly with clients and Aon leaders to deliver strategic insights, strengthen client relationships, and support initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes. You'll combine data-driven analysis, market intelligence, and industry expertise to help clients make informed decisions and achieve their objectives.

What the Role Looks Like

You will:

  • Support client relationship and engagement activities across strategic initiatives and key business priorities.
  • Analyze complex datasets and market information to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and actionable insights.
  • Develop presentations, reports, and recommendations that help clients improve performance and achieve growth objectives.
  • Lead project workstreams, manage timelines, track deliverables, and coordinate stakeholders across multiple engagements.
  • Assess business risks, market dynamics, competitive positioning, and client capabilities to support strategic decision-making.
  • Measure progress against client objectives and help evaluate the business impact of implemented recommendations.
  • Partner with internal subject matter experts and client teams to deliver integrated solutions that address business challenges.
  • Develop knowledge of Aon's products, services, and capabilities to support client needs and identify opportunities for expanded engagement.
  • Conduct market research on industry trends, competitors, insurers, and emerging opportunities.
  • Support account planning, business development activities, and strategic partnership initiatives.
  • Maintain client engagement information and relationship activities through established relationship management practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, reporting methods, and client engagement approaches.
  • Support engagement documentation and ensure deliverables align with applicable governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with carriers, market participants, and external partners to strengthen client outcomes and industry insights.
What Success Looks Like

In this role, you'll help clients navigate a rapidly evolving insurance landscape while developing expertise across strategy, growth, operations, market intelligence, and client engagement. Your work will directly contribute to informed decision-making, stronger client relationships, and measurable business results.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, account management, insurance, financial services, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience analyzing large and complex datasets and translating findings into actionable business insights.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead work independently with limited oversight.
  • Experience working across cross-functional or geographically dispersed teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Interest in insurance industry strategy, growth, client engagement, and market analysis.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $105,000 - $120,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
